Finally, the end of VPess, probably the most slack module ever.

My final Assignment:

Quite happy with it, actually, quite happy with the whole of VPess. Jack said that I should put this into my portfolio. I have no idea how :/ I don't even have a portfolio. Lol. 'Easter eggs' galore in the assignment, see if you can spot them.

Anyways, had ice cream prata yesterday after school. It was.... weird... But nice.. Still weird though. I think my tastebuds are getting less and less spicy-proof. Just a little chilli will start a chain reaction; my face gets red, my body gets hot, and I start to sweat. It's not that I can't take chilli, but rather that my body refuses anything spicy without me sweating. :/

Went for my $64-per-hour booking at parkway parade to try out the piano I'm going to use for my exam. First impression: It sucks! The touch is so hard; I had to use much more force to play the keys, and the cold aircon did no help numbing my fingers. In short, I couldn't play fast anymore. But then, the aircon went off, and by that time I had gotten used to the feel of the piano, and hey, I actually liked it. I was back to my usual speed, but I guess the main reason why was because of the increase in temperature.

Sad thing is that the woman in charge told me that it's gonna be very cold during my examination time. Dang. I see no way to prepare myself for that, other than wearing golves while waiting for the examination. Good thing that VPess is gonna end in a few hours time, and I'll have more time to practice.

Countdown: Exactly ONE more week to my exams, and I'm still rushing for my final assignment! And I haven't done my program notes. Ahh!!11! I'm such a lazy bum. It seems I'm only able to fully concentrate on my work during the wee hours of the night. Not good, not good. Ahh what am I doing blogging at 4 am?!

Went to celebrate Aisyah and Jasmine's Bdae yesterday-- Watched the movie "Quarantine". Imo, it's a stupid show and a waste of money. It's the kind of movie that's been done over and over again. Quarantined in an apartment building, a group of people are attacked by -guess what-

Zombies. Yay!

Then as usual, one by one, people die, turn into zombies, and start killing others. Elements of a scary movie are there eg Flashing/flickering lights and screamers, but I think the too much flashing lights were used. One part during the elevator scene when the group were attacked by zombies, the cameraman's camera lights flickers like a mother. Then, after the attack, bam, lights are back to normal.

Gore-wise, it's not that grotesque as you might think. Sure, a zombie which looks 90 percent human biting another human's neck may be scary to some, but I think I've seen scarier shows. The best part of the film to me was the part where the -SPOILERS- little girl bites her mom, and darts around like a crazy monkey. Haha that part was funny.

Comparing this to the other movie, "Cloverfield", the latter wins hands down. Although all the characteres die in the end, at least in Cloverfield, they die knowing they probably will, and are more or less ready, having said their final words. Unlike where in this lame show the main character screams as she gets pulled back, then bam, game over.

Well at least we got to go Joe's house for some GHWT. But thanks to Nadiah and Alana, I now hate the song "Monsoon." LOL.

Randomness

Kenpachi Zaraki's back! And so are the other Shinigamis from Bleach. Watching Ichigo fight was getting stale already, good thing they brought back the rest.

I love Dizzy and Carmine from Gow2.

Dizzy-
Redneck to the bone (See his cowboy hat? You know what's underneath it? A bandana)
His Texan accent rocks
Favourite line: "Its darker than a rats ass. Lemme light up Betty's titties!!" (Betty being his vehicle, of course. What were you thinking?)

Carmine-
Everyone loves a man in armor. But who can resist a clumsy rookie wearing armor which looks just a little oversized for him? Eh? Eh?
Best line: It's that monkey-dog thing again!!!

Oh and I just watched the movie "Taken". I wasn't that excited about it, not until I saw Liam Neeson come on screen in the very first scene. Having watched him play as Qui-Gon in Starwars and other epic movies, I knew this was one film I had to watch. He plays as a father of a daughter who, on a holiday in Paris, gets kidnapped later on in the movie. Thing is, this father is a retired Jack Baouer/Rambo/Spec ops kinda guy, so it's no surprise when he travels to Paris and tears it apart just to look for his daughter.

The whole movie basically shows Neeson travelling around Paris in search of his daughter and those responsible for the kidnappings. Then he kills his enemies. One WTF moment was when he waltzes into the 'lion's den' and says to the leader "You don't remember me? We spoke on the phone two days ago... I told you I would find you", in the middle of everyone. Yeah, he's that Badass. Then he takes out everyone one by one, and saves the leader for the last. Oh and then he electrocutes him and leaves the room. Burn baybeh!

So yeah, that movie's pretty short, and full of action. Not that it's a bad thing. In fact, I love it. But that's just me.

I suck. I just finished my 7 hour 'nap' since 6pm. Now it's 2:30am and I don't feel tired at all. Great.

Experimenting with a tablet in AniFun. Fat arms, I know.

Ok now that Video Fundamentals and Psychology is over, I finally have time to practice for my exam in Dec. Only 3 weeks left! Starting tomorrow, I have to force myself to go back home once school ends.

So I think I can't get an A for Vidfun, probably a B+ at most. Then there's psychology. I might be able to get an A for that one, hope my presentation didn't screw everything up. Now I'm stuck with stupid Visual Presentation. Even though it seems like an easy subject, it's so freaking boring. Coupled with a lecturer who talks weird, I might take some time getting used to this.

And I finished Gow2. Like finally, I can read the forums without fear of any spoilers. My take on this game? 9/10

Graphics- Out of this world. Ok, not quite, but it is one of the better games with awesome graphics. I never fail to enjoy blowing off locust heads, watching their arms slack, then drop to the ground, dead.

Physics- Not bad. Thing about Gow2 is that there isn't really much outstanding physics going around, coz there isn't any jumping around or whatsoever. It almost seems like the gravity is twice of Earths'. Although, now almost everything is destructible. Shoot a wall, chunks come off. Grenade a car, it explodes. Shoot pillars enough and you can see the steel underlinings below the granite.

Gameplay- Addictive. Like I said, it's always fun destroying them locusts, and with a wide array of weapons, Fenix never fails to get the job done, Although, I have yet to really try Multiplayer. I played it a bit, and though it's fun, it really sucks having to go against real humans out there who can own your ass anytime anyday.
