Je suis sur paris!!!

Reason for writing a post instead of sleeping: So I remember what I did here. You know how it is, after a few days everything starts to blur and you don't recall what you did when you did it.

Also, I recall regretting not putting down the things I did in Australia.

First day:

Touchdown! Probably the only one wearing tshirt and jeans while everyone else was huddled up in their thick furry coats. Went to Disneyland. What a let down- gloomy skies and rain soaked clothes. Also, first impression of Paris: Where are the teens and chicks! And what's with all the grey buildings? Maybe it was just the sky. Best rollercoaster ride: Space mountain! Indoors, outdoors, upside down, pitchblack, planets exploding etc. After that, we had dinner at Gaspard de La nuit. Rabbit! Yum, tastes like chicken. Oh, what made things more cool were the two Kazak girls and American Chinese ladies we ate with. Amazing how my bro communicates with the two girls who can barely speak neither English nor French. I want to learn a new language.

Second day:

Went down to Champs-elysees- something like Orchard road, just not that city-like as Singapore. Very few tall buildings here. Got approached by a Chinese woman asking us to help us buy goods from LV. What a colossal waste of time. And to think we could have walked off with 3thousand Euros just like that. Had burgers-with wasabi, at Quick. Pretty awesome burgers. Then went on a detour to Wayne's friend's house to check up on a quarrel before heading to Chinatown to buy groceries for dinner. Mmmm Bak-kut-teh and Black bean sauce pork. Had Julianne over for dinner, what a nice girl. Wayne'd be lucky to have her. Tried watching Game of Thrones episode 4, but fell asleep barely half way through. Got up to walk her and Wayne to the station, carrying a samurai sword. Just for the kicks. Should have taken a picture, damn.

Third day, today:

Went to Chateau de Vincennes to have a looksee at a castle. Again, the gloomy weather did not do it justice. When will we get to see blue skies?! Walked over to the entrance of the Louvre but didn't go in. With parents around, I didn''t feel like dragging anyone along with me. Then walked through the garden to Concorde to see the Egyptian Obelisk, and from there to Champs-elysees again. Went to eat at an Italian Pizza restaurant. Waiter hitting on two American girls lol. Eiffel tower! AGAIN, Gloomy weather! Damn the rain. Didn't go up, but that didn't really matter. Mum and dad went back home while the three of us went to Christine and Luke's apartment. What amazing chefs. Simply amazing. Bet their gonna 'spoil market' once they get back to Singapore. Next stop: Montmartre, and finally the Sun decided enough was enough and came out to play. Such a beautiful chapel! Up there, being able to see the whole city with clear blue skies- that was the best part of Paris I've experienced so far.

Oh and before I finish, I can' believe I'm staying up to write this when I fell asleep countless times while watching The Avengers. Me and Sue. What a waste! Gonna have to watch it again in Singapore. In two hours I'll be up again, packing my bags to go Norway. Hopefully it won't be too cold there.

I think this is it. I really think so. All the signs are there.

I'm not sure if it's a bad thing.

My hives/urticaria is back, with a vengeance. Every night it pops up. Now, for the first time, on my neck. What is happening!

Quick recap. What a week. I passed TP on my first attempt. Thank God. I feel so much more relaxed with it over and done with. I still remember the joy I felt when I just finished parking and turned off the engine.

Went for design show. Animation was such a let down, sorry to say. Don't know why so many of them used photoshop to animate. Heard their gonna scrap the course. Too bad then. VSC was really good though. Although, quite a few of them have the same style of vectoring in illustrator.

Titanic 3d. Manly tears. Ok not really but it was reminded me of emotions I forgot for quite some time now. Wonder when I'll experience them again. Soon I hope.

No going back this time boy.

No going back.

Shut the windows.

Prepare for the storm.

Then the rainbow sky high.

Transport Operator

Sounds so much better than driver eh? First day, wow, shocked at how easy going life there seems to be. It's only the first day, but I can tell I'm gonna have fun here. Using phones openly, tea break in the morning and another in the afternoon, 1 hour lunch time... How grateful I am to be here.

All I wish for now is to be posted to somewhere where I don't have to stay in. Slim chance, but we'll see how it goes.

Feels great to be able to book out everyday. Heh, not as good as BC or Faizal's vocation, but still, not complaining. I'll take my 1 year 8 months left and use it to get to know Singapore's roads. If posted to Tekong, I'll just kill myself. Nah...
