IpMan update 2

Just watched it again with bro, and it's still amazing. Not as amazing as the first time, of course, but still amazing nonetheless. I like the use of the Master Liao (the first dude Ip Man fights, not sure if that's his name) to measure the standard of level of kung fu of the other characters. Also, there's this part I noticed where Ip Man says in Chinese something like wo qu xian xi lian, but the subtitles reads Go wash your face first or something like that. And I realised that General Miura looks like the Japanese version of Wentworth Miller.

No?

Wild imaginations

Dreams.. I've been getting all sorts of weird dreams lately. In one, I was lying on my bed when my brother came up to me and told me that one of my friends was dead. And it was kinda real. But not as real as the two dreams I just had.

I dreamt that I was given my Christmas present, and before I opened it I guessed that it was an active camo ODST. And it was. The tearing of the wrapper and all was so real. Then I had another dream, this one more scary. I was with my sec school mates, and we were on the third or fourth floor of Agus's house (dunno why him, not that I really knew him well), and a group of us went scaling outside his house, hands and feet gripping the protruding ledges. As we made our way to the left, Agus pulled down a long black pole. Since we were at the position of the fulcrum, the pole went downwards, and we all slid down it to the first floor. No harnesses.

Then we made our way to this snowy desolate place, where I spot a Black hawk helicopter. As it came closer, I realised that it wasn't any ordinary Black hawk. This one was bigger, bulkier, and was flying from side to side. It seemed to be in trouble. Then like any nightmare, it took a turn and headed towards our direction, and crashed in the center of the group, killing almost all but me. Searching for my friends underneath the snow and rubble, I saw them as stuffed toys, but at that time, it made sense. Every single stuff toy which died had squashed eyes dripping blood, since that was their most vulnerable part. The helicopter which crashed then opened up at the top, and a real black Hawk emerged from it. Then I went back to school to tell the sad news, and from there it gets all fuzzy. Apparently some giant monster ice truck, imagine CARS the movie style comes and saves the day, bringing back all the bodies. I'm not sure if they were alive or dead..

Ip man iz teh shitz! Definitely in my top 3 movies of this year. It's the only show other than The Dark Knight to have me sitting on the edge of my seat. The fighting scenes are simply amazing, and throughout the movie I was always waiting for the next fight scene to happen. Watching Donnie Yen throw those 'machine gun' punches was like having joygasms over and over again. He simply obliterated anyone standing in his way, and since he was the 'good' guy, you could relate to him in the sense that every punch or kick that connected with the bad guys, you just wanna shout and cheer for him. I'm sure the dudes agree with me. Definitely worth 6 bucks, hell, I would have paid 10 bucks just to see it, and you should too. And so ends my short review of Ip Man. Which is pronounced as eep mun by the way.

Got an Adidas shirt as a Christmas present from Uncle Francis. And it fits. Very nice.

Blonde.. Heh...

And my Christmas shopping is almost done! Now I just have to find stuff for the family, and It'll be finished. Had Dinner at Swensons as a treat, now that I've finally gotten my WCG pay.

Can't wait to watch IPman! And I've been playing KOTOR again just to nostalgic cravings (is that even grammatically right?) The last two weeks have been kinda weird for me; I keep feeling this sense of nostalgia somehow, not that I'm complaining, I like it a lot. :/

An interesting read

Wow, just read an article on "Agent X". The best part? It makes sense, and uses rational thinking to determine the truth, and doesn't force any specific religion on you. If you've got an open mind, and time, you should really read this. It took me about an hour to read it all, but it was well worth it. However, if you're only gonna spend five minutes reading it, don't bother. It'll be a waste of time.

Diploma ATCL examination

It's over! I'm finally free to finish up my games, free to read the forums, free to watch the T.V like no one's business. WHOOOOOT! I knew the exam would be over sooner or later, but it's really over!

Ok now to the sad part. 15 minutes before the examination, I was in the male toilet (of course) warming up my hands with the dryer, just it case it would be too cold for me, as it was the last time I went in. So when I go into the examination room, I'm surprised at the formalities or rather, lack thereof. The old but kind looking guy told me to have a seat, and to wait for awhile so that he could clear up his table. Lol.

Then he said something along the lines of "Ryan, don't treat this as an examination..." and I'm thinking, what, is he consoling/comforting me? Awesome.. "Treat this as a performance" Oh yeah like that will ease me. My fingers were shaking, just a little. Then I played the first song. Man what a disappointment. Practiced and practiced the Toccata so many times that I bet everyone in my house hates it, yet, I still made the same mistakes I thought I already corrected. Still, no choice but to carry on. Tried my best to focus on the music, but man, so many thoughts just went through my mind. I thought of starwars, the old guy, what might he think of my playing, home, what I'm gonna do after I finish the exam, how long more to the next piece, do my hands feel cold? etc. You get the idea. Whole lot of shit I had to push to the back of my mind.

Second song was ok, not fantastic though. Could have done a better job, i'm sure. Made quite a few mistakes here and there. :( Good thing I saved the best for last. Brahms' Intermezzo might just save me from another 700 bucks not to mention tuition fees. I hope.

Overall, I think I might pass. Distinction? No, probably not. But this past week has got to be the week I've practiced the most piano in my whole life. Been waking up around 7 or 8 am and playing through the whole day. I, being a last minute person, tried to chiong my practices the last one and a half week. Now I realise that can't be done for piano. I need be perfect 1 month at least before the exam, then from there just keep practicing and practicing. Ahh heck, what's done is done. Now to go watch Eagle Eye.

Finally, the end of VPess, probably the most slack module ever.

My final Assignment:

Quite happy with it, actually, quite happy with the whole of VPess. Jack said that I should put this into my portfolio. I have no idea how :/ I don't even have a portfolio. Lol. 'Easter eggs' galore in the assignment, see if you can spot them.

Anyways, had ice cream prata yesterday after school. It was.... weird... But nice.. Still weird though. I think my tastebuds are getting less and less spicy-proof. Just a little chilli will start a chain reaction; my face gets red, my body gets hot, and I start to sweat. It's not that I can't take chilli, but rather that my body refuses anything spicy without me sweating. :/

Went for my $64-per-hour booking at parkway parade to try out the piano I'm going to use for my exam. First impression: It sucks! The touch is so hard; I had to use much more force to play the keys, and the cold aircon did no help numbing my fingers. In short, I couldn't play fast anymore. But then, the aircon went off, and by that time I had gotten used to the feel of the piano, and hey, I actually liked it. I was back to my usual speed, but I guess the main reason why was because of the increase in temperature.

Sad thing is that the woman in charge told me that it's gonna be very cold during my examination time. Dang. I see no way to prepare myself for that, other than wearing golves while waiting for the examination. Good thing that VPess is gonna end in a few hours time, and I'll have more time to practice.

Countdown: Exactly ONE more week to my exams, and I'm still rushing for my final assignment! And I haven't done my program notes. Ahh!!11! I'm such a lazy bum. It seems I'm only able to fully concentrate on my work during the wee hours of the night. Not good, not good. Ahh what am I doing blogging at 4 am?!

Went to celebrate Aisyah and Jasmine's Bdae yesterday-- Watched the movie "Quarantine". Imo, it's a stupid show and a waste of money. It's the kind of movie that's been done over and over again. Quarantined in an apartment building, a group of people are attacked by -guess what-

Zombies. Yay!

Then as usual, one by one, people die, turn into zombies, and start killing others. Elements of a scary movie are there eg Flashing/flickering lights and screamers, but I think the too much flashing lights were used. One part during the elevator scene when the group were attacked by zombies, the cameraman's camera lights flickers like a mother. Then, after the attack, bam, lights are back to normal.

Gore-wise, it's not that grotesque as you might think. Sure, a zombie which looks 90 percent human biting another human's neck may be scary to some, but I think I've seen scarier shows. The best part of the film to me was the part where the -SPOILERS- little girl bites her mom, and darts around like a crazy monkey. Haha that part was funny.

Comparing this to the other movie, "Cloverfield", the latter wins hands down. Although all the characteres die in the end, at least in Cloverfield, they die knowing they probably will, and are more or less ready, having said their final words. Unlike where in this lame show the main character screams as she gets pulled back, then bam, game over.

Well at least we got to go Joe's house for some GHWT. But thanks to Nadiah and Alana, I now hate the song "Monsoon." LOL.

Randomness

Kenpachi Zaraki's back! And so are the other Shinigamis from Bleach. Watching Ichigo fight was getting stale already, good thing they brought back the rest.

I love Dizzy and Carmine from Gow2.

Dizzy-
Redneck to the bone (See his cowboy hat? You know what's underneath it? A bandana)
His Texan accent rocks
Favourite line: "Its darker than a rats ass. Lemme light up Betty's titties!!" (Betty being his vehicle, of course. What were you thinking?)

Carmine-
Everyone loves a man in armor. But who can resist a clumsy rookie wearing armor which looks just a little oversized for him? Eh? Eh?
Best line: It's that monkey-dog thing again!!!

Oh and I just watched the movie "Taken". I wasn't that excited about it, not until I saw Liam Neeson come on screen in the very first scene. Having watched him play as Qui-Gon in Starwars and other epic movies, I knew this was one film I had to watch. He plays as a father of a daughter who, on a holiday in Paris, gets kidnapped later on in the movie. Thing is, this father is a retired Jack Baouer/Rambo/Spec ops kinda guy, so it's no surprise when he travels to Paris and tears it apart just to look for his daughter.

The whole movie basically shows Neeson travelling around Paris in search of his daughter and those responsible for the kidnappings. Then he kills his enemies. One WTF moment was when he waltzes into the 'lion's den' and says to the leader "You don't remember me? We spoke on the phone two days ago... I told you I would find you", in the middle of everyone. Yeah, he's that Badass. Then he takes out everyone one by one, and saves the leader for the last. Oh and then he electrocutes him and leaves the room. Burn baybeh!

So yeah, that movie's pretty short, and full of action. Not that it's a bad thing. In fact, I love it. But that's just me.

I suck. I just finished my 7 hour 'nap' since 6pm. Now it's 2:30am and I don't feel tired at all. Great.

Experimenting with a tablet in AniFun. Fat arms, I know.

Ok now that Video Fundamentals and Psychology is over, I finally have time to practice for my exam in Dec. Only 3 weeks left! Starting tomorrow, I have to force myself to go back home once school ends.

So I think I can't get an A for Vidfun, probably a B+ at most. Then there's psychology. I might be able to get an A for that one, hope my presentation didn't screw everything up. Now I'm stuck with stupid Visual Presentation. Even though it seems like an easy subject, it's so freaking boring. Coupled with a lecturer who talks weird, I might take some time getting used to this.

And I finished Gow2. Like finally, I can read the forums without fear of any spoilers. My take on this game? 9/10

Graphics- Out of this world. Ok, not quite, but it is one of the better games with awesome graphics. I never fail to enjoy blowing off locust heads, watching their arms slack, then drop to the ground, dead.

Physics- Not bad. Thing about Gow2 is that there isn't really much outstanding physics going around, coz there isn't any jumping around or whatsoever. It almost seems like the gravity is twice of Earths'. Although, now almost everything is destructible. Shoot a wall, chunks come off. Grenade a car, it explodes. Shoot pillars enough and you can see the steel underlinings below the granite.

Gameplay- Addictive. Like I said, it's always fun destroying them locusts, and with a wide array of weapons, Fenix never fails to get the job done, Although, I have yet to really try Multiplayer. I played it a bit, and though it's fun, it really sucks having to go against real humans out there who can own your ass anytime anyday.

Someone please invent a 30hr day

I don't know how much longer I can go without sleep. 4 days ago, I had maybe 1 hr of sleep? 2 days ago, 2 hrs. 1day ago, 3 hrs. Today? Probably 3 hrs at most. Too much assignments, too little time. So don't mind me if I spout nonsense during this week, or I act weird and shit.

On a happy/side/crazy note, I just tried ''Assassin'' by muse (hard) on Guitar Hero. It's one heck of a song, my right hand got tired after about a minute or so. That's what he said. Still, it was fun, and one day I'm gonna be doing that on expert level.

I need more than wings

Does Redbull really help? We'll see. I'll be drinking plenty of this this whole week.

GHWT & GOW2

Got Guitar Hero and Gears of War 2 yesterday! WOOT! Only problem is that I have so much school work now.. You know how tempting it is to just take the controller and start chainsawing hordes of Locusts? Dayummmm....

Saturday, November 8, 2008

Just came back from sec 4 class gathering. What can I say? The journey there was more of an adventure than the gathering itself. Alighted at the wrong stop, then alighted at the correct one. But, after reading Val's message again, I realised I stopped at the wrong church. So I took the bus again, and alighted at another church. Then Val said that I was supposed to alight at the previous one. By then, I was about 2 hours late. -.-

First thought that came to my mind when I reached this huge hallway was : Where is the house? Is it further in? Then I realised the whole friggin thing was her house. 0.0 Almost or maybe bigger than the size of the church next door. Yep, that big. Two ponds, or swamps, as Sam would call it on either sides of the walkway to the kitchen. Oh and they have a baby grand piano. Steinway somemore. Bad move on Val's part to let anyone play on it, coz one of the black keys broke. What a waste!

Quite a lot of the guys were there, in fact, I think almost every guy went. Too bad the same can't be said for the girls. Played those mild games like murderer and polar bear the whole night.. Kinda surprised that not many people wanted to play Tie-tee... Slept on the couch then left at around 6:30 am, and on the way out, we had to climb this gate. Forgetting my mirror's edge skills (partly coz I had almost no sleep), I simply jumped down from up there and landed on my ass. Lol.

All the hype for Mirror's Edge has got me wanting to learn Parkour.

What do two douchebags do when stuck in the 3dArtFun room with nothing to do?

This.
Yup, those are satay sticks alright.

It's called Creativity.

Sigh... She's lost it... Again...

And now, I officially accept the fact that I suck at craft work. Gimme a pencil and paper, I'll do... Nice things... Gimme a paper and scissors, oh and some glue, all I'll produce is crap.

Disturbia

Just watched the movie "Disturbia" played by Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer. Some thoughts about it:

Probability of hot chick living next to you? 1% Ok, maybe 2%

Probability of hot chick getting locked out of her house, then inviting herself over to yours without any prior notice? 0.01%

Probability of hot chick calling you sweet even after she knows that you spied on her through your binoculars? 0.001%

Probability of hot chick falling for you after you kill a serial killer and become a hero? 0.0001%

So yeah, you get the picture. It was a fun movie though.

Mirror's Edge Demo is out!

Wowzaz, it's quite a fun demo, actually. Short and sweet. I think I might get the game. Piano exam's coming up, Guitar hero's coming out, Gears of War 2 too... Sigh.. Too many great games, too little time. Ubin came over coz he had nothing to do just now; ended class at 11:20, and he had to be in school by 5pm. Wanted to get started on our projects, but Dead Space was too tempting. Besides, I haven't been playing it for quite some time already.

Jam and hop. Wanted to go but too lazy. I love my bed :)

Random wall-o-text.

XO8....Again

Went to XO8 again today after church. Met with Joe and Ubin. Sis was having her Rockband competition, and I was pretty sure she'd win something. Again, no luck. Walked around a bit, played some Mirror's Edge, got free Mirror's Edge tattoos. Met two idiotic kids whom I just felt like giving a good smacking. Hogged one xbox station like no one else's business. Worst of all, their dad didn't stop them. Ugly Singaporeans.

Met Wayne, Joshua and Congyu for dinner at Carl's Junior. If my memory serves me right, today would be the first day I eat at Carl's Junior. Yeah, sue me. Freakin expensive, at least the burger was good. Didn't finish the fries though, had to rush to Esplanade for the concert. Free tickets! Woo! Very entertaining concert, although for some reason, when I heard the piano parts, I felt uber tired. The feeling just came over me, and although the the pianist was so good, I couldn't keep my eyes open and dozed off about 5 times. What a waste. Loved the encores; Magic Garden and Fire-something. Even more than the 45 min song, Firebird. Went to starbucks for awhile then went home with sis. A red-faced sis, thanks to rum. Lol.

XO8

Friday: Went to XO8 with Ubin and Wayne at Marina square. Being my first time at an XO-something event, I expected more, but it was ok nonetheless. I got my goodie bag, inside were two games! Wow two free games! I received Kameo and DOA4. I think I'm never gonna play Kameo, probably just gonna sell it away. Or maybe I'll just leave it along with my Ninety-nine nights to rot. Bro received Shadowrun (probably another stupid game) and a limited edition Forza 2 motorsport. Cool eh?

Met Syaz over there, went to explore a bit before going for dinner. Bumped into Cheryl and her friend. Sue's speech was awesome, the best among the four, definitely. It was perfect. Only problem is that no one really knows her, and the other 3 guys have lotsa support from the BOB community. Then it was her turn to play Street Fighter 4 up on stage against an A.I. I was pretty sure she would lose, considering that she never played ANY street fighter at all. But alas! Her cheap button mashing tactics secured her victory! I was shocked man. XD

While the votes were being calculated, there was a showcase of some Guitar Hero action and Street fighter 4. Results were announced, and alas, sis didn't win, instead it was Merderka who was crowned the next Xbox Xpert. Oh well, there's always another time. Watched Electrico perform on stage and it was awesome. Apart from the fact that it was a free performance, it was, I think, the first real live band performance I've seen. Went back after that.

Mood: Empty...

Psychology's fun, lecturer's very animated, albeit intimidating. At least his lessons are interesting, unlike Wenjun's jap lessons which seriously suck. Well, to me, at least. Can't believe his lecturer can just talk non-stop for what seems like forever. I'm gonna ace psychology, that I promise. I'll do whatever it takes. Ok enough nerd talk.

Went over to Tm just now after Vidfun in search for jeans (all my present ones are getting too damn short!) and a cap for my screwed up hair. Too bad the caps i saw were all 30 bucks, which was a Big No for me. Settled for a pair of jeans and socks for $36 bucks after a 25% discount. Not a bad deal at all.

BIG NEWS: SIS GOT THROUGH TO THE FINALS OF THE XBOX XPERT PROGRAM. What a kick-ass sis I'll have if she gets to be the next Xbox Xpert, getting to try out new games before anyone else. You already kick ass man. Looks like her biggest contender would be Merderka, as his video's really good, so props to him if he gets the title.

Watch her vid here:
Damn isn't there anyone who can give me a proper hair cut?!

FUCK!

Friday:

Went to meet my primary six peeps. Not all came, of course, and many I wanted to see didn't. And there were only like what, 5 girls?? And more than 10 guys. Lol. Went to tm to eat at Pastamania, had Creamy Chicken. Wasn't as nice as I remembered it to be; it tasted too salty and not creamy enough. Zheng da came late, and he looks the same as he used to. Oh he's still the asshole he is. Haha just kidding. Biggest shock would be Samuel. After seeing him botak for god knows how many years, it was a HUGE shock to see him with hair. Long, spiky hair. WOW. Cool. Chitchatted, then went on to Changi Airport.

Oh and on the way outta Tm, Jaime realised that I had a different hairstyle, and she was all like "wow better than your old one which was horrible." Haha what she meant was the time where I had to wear a cap, and yes, I agree that it was horrible. Heh. Slacked at Terminal 1's macs before taking a bus home.

Now you know why you shouldn't play this alone?

Shoot the limbs!

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Deadspace: First impressions

Ok so I've played only a little of the game, but I think I've had enough. For now. When I think back about it, it isn't really that scary, (yeah right), but it sure is when you're playing it alone. Graphics are top notch, gameplay is fun, physics is great. Although it can be a little annoying at times.

For example: After I dismember an enemy 'zombie' (They're actually called Necromorphs, by the way, which reminds me of a joke I read on some forum, but scroll down to read it coz I think I've sidestracked a little too much) So yeah, after I shoot of their limbs, sometimes I walk over them, and one of the limbs gets stuck in between my arms or legs, dragging it along. And that's pretty disgusting. I think the producers made a good job of implementing many doors to this game. It adds a lot to the scare factor, coz you never know what might lurk behind it.

So far I'm armed with only a plasma cutter, but it works well. For now, at least. It takes one shot to disemeber a limb, and it takes two limbs to kill one Necromorph. Or rather, the Necromorphs I'm facing now, as I'm sure the later ones will be much harder to kill.

Verdict of the game so far: Good, very good, but it would be more fun if it was played with a group of friends watching, the lights turned off, and volume set to maximum. Now that would make Silent Hill seem like a walk in the park.

Oh and before I forget, the joke:

What did one Necrophilia say to another?

Wanna stop by for some cold ones? XD

DEADSPACE!!

I finally got it! Muahahaha! Review coming up later on!
Just watched "Get Smart" via my 360, and man, was it enjoyable. Sure it was a slapstick (spelling?) kinda movie, but it was hilarious. Much better than The Zohan, imo. Many laughs, and one of the funniest moments went like this:

Steve Carrell hangs onto a rope from a low-flying plane and is cruising at road level amongst some cars. Then a kid in the back of one of the cars spots him holding on for dear life and starts shouting "Mum! Mum! Mum! Mum!" to which the mum shouts back "Sam! Sam! Sam! Sam! Do you see how annoying that is?!!" Ok I think I didn't get the kid's name right, but you get the point. Lul.

Work got cancelled yet again, and I'm gonna be free tomorrow. Probably gonna head down to get Dead Space. Or maybe I'll just be too damned lazy and stay home all day again.

Oops she did it again

Losing money... Dow's supposed to go up a lot, mum shorted instead of buying coz she listened to some guy. Dow did go up, and we're losing lots of money. I feel bad for dad, all his hard earned money gone down the drain just like that. Earn bit by bit, loose so much at one go. =(

On a brighter note, did quite a lot of painting on Starkiller just now, and he's halfway done. Work for tomorrow got cancelled, what a waste =( And I don't feel like blogging, so this post is gonna be short. Fullstop.

Sis came back from Perth yesterday and brought home some awesome Aussie and American stuff. Aussie donuts (mmmMMMmmmm), Aussie matured cheese and some bread. I love Aussie food. Then she also got me and bro some exclusive Halo shirts from the SanDiego Comicon. I love the red "Traxus" T-shirt, coz I've always wanted a Red shirt. And it came with the "Bungie" logo behind. Always a plus =)

Did colouring on photoshop the whole day, this time not for dad, but for my other artwork. Starkiler's a real pain, it's taking me way too long to do, but somehow, I'm enjoying every minute colouring it. Ok, not every, but most, at least. A shot of it WIP:

Pissed

Woke up at 10 am just now, and first thing I do is ask my dad if he needs any help in his work. So yea, he does, and I help him colour his work in photoshop. A really great first-hand experience in his work life. Life as a storyboard artist really is not easy. Not one bit. Dad didn't even sleep the whole night, busy drawing the storyboards. And he had to colour all 10 by 11am. Fortunately, the clients didn't chase him, so somehow, even till 5pm, we hadn't finished all the storyboards yet. And all the while there were people talking to me on Msn but I had to shoo them away. Sorry guys =p

Finally stopped work at around 8:30pm. Didn't even brush teeth or bathe or rest the whole day. Too damn rushed. Then I receive an email from WCG, saying the money will be delayed to November. From September 5th to November. That's 2 freakin months guys, I'm sure you can do better than that. Worse still, when I asked for the breakdown of my pay, the reply I received appalled me. The total amount is stated as 235 bucks. And Evilswat said that it would be a minimum of 400 bucks total. I'm supposed to be paid 6 bucks per hour, but it states I'm being paid less than 5. Wtf? That plus the many errors in the calculations. If this is really how screwed up the organisers and sponsors are, no way am I working for them again.

Pfft.

Man time passes really fast. Just two days ago I was working at Farrer park. Seemed only like yesterday. Oh man soon school's gonna start (no problem with that) but I'll have less time to sleep, draw, play and go out. Oh well, at least I'll be in the company of my friends. Heh.

Just received some bad news; Alexa's got health problems, what, I'm not sure, but it's bad enough that she's only coming back to school next year. Hope she gets well soon. Wish I could do something to help..

Saturday, October 4, 2008

Woke up at 10am today, rushed to get ready to leave for piano lesson at Clementi. After that, quickly got back to rest for awhile before going to my new student's home to give piano lesson. Sylvia told me she was 16? What a shock when she told me she was 21! Wow me, a 17 year old teaching a 21 year old. Ok, at least she could play and read some notes, and she learns quite fast. I think. Haha and she's also from Tp. Or rather, used to be. Design too. PID. Lesson was supposed to be 45 mins, but after almost 1 and a half hours, her mum came and asked me why I didn't wanna go back. Then I looked at my phone and wth, already 1910. Oh well, time well spent, played my Diploma piece at her request. Wrapped things up, then went down. And realised I left my phone at her house. -.-"

Wayne just ordered Macs, I had a double cheeseburger and a fillet o fish. Can't believe I'm eating a Cheeseburger again while I'm still sick. Gotta sleep early to recover and work tomorrow.

Hari Raya Celebration

Freaky..

Spiderman, spiderman, does whatever a spider can.

The true art of slacking.

Ok, not really. Didn't celebrate much, unless you consider playing with sparklers celebrating. Still, going to Ubin's house was teh funzorz. Supposed to go there at 3:30, but in the end, that was the time we met at Sweetalk. "We" being the guys, of course, the girls were late. Yet again. So we left for his house at around 4:30? Reached there around 5 ish and slacked. Ubin ordered us Pizza (mmmmmMMmmm) (that's what she said) and some chicken drumlets from Pizza hut. Sorry Joe, I win at "That's what she said"s. Haha his expression is damn retarded whenever I beat him to it. L. ;p

Slacked a bit more, played a lil Halo 2. Wow the controller's so old-school man, so huge and bulky (s'what she said). Watched some tv, then went down after awhile to play Sparklers. Ubin and Shuhui made these missile things that went ignited, would actually move. Cool eh? Made a mess of the place (not that I'm proud of it), I hope the cleaners won't get too annoyed. Went back to his house to play Jenga! Played it in a different style, using cards to decide whose turn it was to pull the pieces out. And thanks to my l337 skillz, I pulled off a "classic move?" according to Joe, which was actually pulling out the bottomest row of blocks very fast so that the whole thing doesn't topple. Don't get it nevermind. There should be a video somewhere.

After that it was home sweet home, raced Shuhui to the bus interchange. Haha.

Whew. Went cycling yesterday, been such a loooong time since I cycled. Met the group after such a loooong bus journey. 1 hr. 1 freakin hour sitting the bus doing nothing. At least the fun in cycling made up for that boredom. Paid 7 bucks for my bike, while the girls rollerbladed. Alana rollerblade like pro sia, but Shuhui, well, she held on to Joseph for the entire ride. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID, SUCKERZ. After 2 hours of cycling, everyone's hair all messy siol, lucky I brought my cap to save the day. ;)

Ate two double cheeseburgers at Macs, (thank you as well!), and after that, I kinda had a small little feeling that the next day I was gonna be sick. And voila! Woke up today with my throat feeling all sore, and had a bad case of runny nose and a headache. But before I went back yesterday, those fools hid from me. Wth man, I was playing at the seashore, when I turned around, they were all GONE. After using my gamer eyes to search for them, I finally gave up and walked to the tunnel. What a disappointment when I realised that they were all the while behind me, and I didn't even notice them. Gamer eyes you fail me yet again. Haha jk.

Woke up today at 10:30am, then went back to sleep until it was 6:30pm, when mum and dad went out to Aunty Jane's wedding. So I'm here, just finished eating Pizza my bro ordered (thanks Wayne!) and about to go play some Xbox yet again. Bye.
