Kenny, Alex, WJ, Shaun and San came over yesterday for awhile, partly because mum came home, kinda spoiling the mood. Kenny played Deadspace for a bit, then they decided to play Mirror's Edge. Went out to TM and T1 afterthat with the intention to go to Bugis later on, but after walking around for so long I guess we were all tired. Saw a Spiderman shirt at Topman, and I just had to buy it, even though it costed a bomb. 49 bucks! Thanks to Shaun for that 15% discount thing, but still, 41 bucks! Nevermind, at least I can show off to Eddy. Hahaha.
Went to eat at Subway, while constantly on the look out, but surprisingly, there wasn't really any we could find 0.0 Except for two xmm who were hogging the Bomberman arcade machine which San so wanted to play. Waited for them to get off, then San procceeded to own the machine. Impressive, most impressive. I wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes in there, but he seemed to know everything about the game. Too bad he died at the (i think) last boss. Kenny was playing Metal Slug, and I realised that they all know so much about all these arcade games compared to me. All because I was banned from entering arcades since young. Till now. But who cares, really, as long as I know my spending limits. And I didn't spend a single cent yesterday. Kenny 'sponsored' me to play one song from the Guitarhero machine at T1 though. Knights of Cydonia. And dammit man, those people who set up the arcade machines really know how to do their job. The strum tab required more force than a normal one, sucking out my energy faster than you could say "Bellamy". Finished the song in the end, good workout. lol.
Then proceeded to buy 4 bottles of beer (them, not me) and went to some block around there to lepak. I tried a little beer, and it still tastes the same like it did a few years back when I tried it at Bangkok. Bitter. Talked a bit, shared a bit, sang a bit, but no nonsense at all. Such good kids we were yesterday. Then we left at 10 and I passed my Spidey shirt to Alex for 'safekeeping'. See, my mom would scream at me if she were to find out I bought a 41 dollar shirt, and I couldn't make sure whether or not she would be in the living room when I got home. So come Monday, I will get back the shirt, put it in my bag, sneak it home, put it in the washing machine, and hopefully a few weeks later my mom will say "Where did you buy this? I've never seen you wear it before~" And I will say "Oh long time ago la"
The end.
