Ok, this might have been the first time I had sleep paralysis and hallucinations at the same time. As usual, this happened at a time when I had not had enough sleep. So I lied down, with the laptop facing me on my left. There was some light coming out of the screen. I tried to sleep.

X amount of time passes.

I felt the sensation of sleep paralysis. I was used to it. This time I tried fighting it as hard as I could. Then I managed to flutter open my eyes a little. There was light shining on my face, from the laptop. Then I heard voice repeatedly calling out "Ryan, ryan ryan" It sounded like mom. But it can't be, I realised, she wouldn't call my name in the middle of the night. And she wouldn't be doing it right beside my ear. I fought the paralysis, and managed a soft "What...?" Oh and the blanket was covering me.

I 'woke' up. The screen was not lighted up. The blanket was all the way pulled down. My mom was not there. It was dark. Probably hallucinating. I went back to sleep.
